MALAGA-DIARIO SUR: Detienen al cabecilla de una presunta estafa de reventa de multipropiedad en Europa. Funcionarios del Grupo de Fraudes de la Unidad de Delincuencia Especializada y Violencia (UDEV) de la Comisaria de Malaga han detenido en la localidad de Fuengirola (Malaga-España) a Willem M. P., un sudafricano de 56 años, como presunto organizador de la estafa conocida como reventa de la multipropiedad....
Desde la primavera de 2001, decenas de sociedades compuestas principalmente por ciudadanos britanicos se pusieron en contacto con propietarios de tiempo compartido a los que les ofrecieron gestionar la reventa de la semana -a la que anualmente tienen derecho disfrutar en vacaciones- a muy buen precio. Para iniciar la gestion, estas sociedades les pedian por adelantado 1.200 euros. Una vez enviada dicha cantidad los propietarios no volvian a saber nada mas de estas empresas, que presuntamente seguian estafando a otras victimas cambiando de nombre. Segun fuentes policiales, se calcula que decenas de miles de personas en Europa han sido victimas de esta estafa. Asimismo, la investigacion de los agentes puso en evidencia que se trataba de una trama diseñada, organizada y ejecutada por grupos de elementos criminales britaicos residentes en la costa. Investigado desde 2001 El detenido llevaba siendo investigado desde octubre de 2001 cuando tras unos registros efectuados en unas oficinas de Fuengirola aparecio su nombre como uno de los responsables de la captacion de personal para trabajar en este tipo de empresas. En este sentido, la Policia le relaciona como presunto organizador en la sombra de empresas tales como Arana Beach Marbella, Fortuna Properties o Trend Properties, todas ellas ubicadas en la zona del edificio Terminal de Fuengirola y sus cercanias.
CONSEJO: Supervise las empresas de reventa que les ofrecen vender su semana, la experiencia nos dice que la gran mayoria de ellas nunca se venden.
