El Gobierno eliminara la obligación de pagar los creditos al consumo cuando cesa el servicio, con una modificación a la Ley de Credito al consumo, y que ira incluido en la Ley de Medidas de Acompañamiento de los presupuestos del Estado del año 2004...
Ello supondra que cuando cese la prestación del servicio (Ej.: no poder disfrutar de tus vacaciones o semana de multipropiedad, academias de ingles, etc) por un incumplimiento de la empresa (Ej.: Mundo Magico. Promotur Consulting, Kumana Tours, Vasco de Gama, Blue Millenium, Great Time, ITN, CAT, etc) determinara tambien la ineficacia del contrato expresamente destinado a su financiación (prestamos que todos pagan para financiar su semana de aprovechamiento por turnos de bienes inmuebles turisticos). ACAMA aplaude dicha medida y tendremos que esperar a su aprobación definitiva para ver el efectivo alcance de dicha modificación y su posible retroactividad, que puede venir muy bien para defender los intereses de los consumidores en los procesos judiciales iniciados por esta Asociación.
