La lista de víctimas de la presunta estafa de multipropiedad denunciada por cuatro parejas vizcaínas crece. La asociación de afectados por este tipo de fraudes, Acama, detalló ayer que ha recibido este mes una veintena de reclamaciones de afectados que han denunciado «a la empresa de explotación de recursos turísticos AABT 2050, tras ser captados en reuniones celebradas en Bilbao y Santander en las últimas semanas».
El abogado de la agrupación, Damián Vázquez, explicó ayer que esta firma «hace presentaciones» durante estos días en las capitales vizcaína y cántabra y que «está cayendo mucha gente». Los responsables de la asociación han dado los primeros pasos para evitar que la firma denunciada haga efectivas las letras de cambio y los contratos que han firmado las víctimas. «Estamos en la fase de enviar los requerimientos a la empresa, para evitar que puedan cobrar las letras. Después pasaremos a la vía judicial», añadió.
Dos matrimonios de Bilbao y Getxo que asistieron a presentaciones de AABT en la capital vizcaína y Santander confirmaron ayer que han puesto su caso en manos de abogados vizcaínos. Estos afectados no sólo firmaron letras en blanco, como las otras cuatro parejas vizcaínas que han denunciado este mes la presunta estafa sufrida, sino que llegaron a entregar importantes cantidades de dinero a la empresa.
La Ertzaintza ha iniciado una investigación. Los responsables de la asociación de afectados malagueña confirmaron ayer que la Policía vasca se había puesto ya en contacto con ellos para solicitar datos sobre la empresa denunciada. El letrado de Acama detalló que, aunque la firma AABT funciona desde hace apenas unos meses y ha puesto sus miras en el norte de la Península, en los últimos cuatro años ha lanzado campañas de captación de 'clientes' en toda España con otros nombres diferentes. «Se han llamado CAT S.L, y ATA S.L., pero siempre mantienen sus mismas sedes en Bilbao y Marbella y ofertan el mismo complejo Atlantic Club», añadió Vázquez.
Vázquez detalló que el modo de operar de AABT y de sus anteriores sociedades es igual. «Citan a parejas en hoteles para entregarles un regalo. Una vez allí les someten a charlas de más de tres horas y, con el gancho de regalarles una semana de vacaciones, acaban por hacerles firmar letras en blanco y contratos en los que las víctimas se comprometen a pagar más de 20.000 euros por un sistema de vacaciones en tiempo compartido. Después, con la amenaza de embargarles, les obligan a firmar letras ante notario y préstamos en bancos. Utilizan procedimientos ilegales como cobrar los anticipos con tarjetas de crédito de las víctimas», concluye.
Una de las afectadas, vecina del Casco Viejo bilbaíno, relataba ayer que ella entregó su tarjeta a la empresa denunciada y que se apoderaron de 2.400 euros de su cuenta, hace poco más de una semana. Las chicas que le citaron en una cafetería bilbaína para darle un regalo lograron que subiera al despacho de un notario de Bilbao y firmara una letra por un valor superior a 20.000 euros.
