Antes de formalizar la venta, huían con el dinero adelantado para gestiones...
La Policía ha detenido en Tenerife y Málaga a 22 personas acusadas de estafar a los dueños de viviendas en régimen de multipropiedad a quienes ofrecían la compra de sus participaciones por un tercero, antes de huir con el dinero adelantado por las víctimas para las gestiones.
Los listados de los propietarios eran sustraídos por empleados desleales de varias empresas dedicadas a la explotación de este tipo de pisos.
El Grupo de Fraudes Financieros de la Policía inició la investigación tras recibir la alerta del Consejo General del Notariado, que había detectado la actividad de una red que usurpaba el nombre de varias notarías españolas.
Los estafadores contactaban con los propietarios para comunicarles que había compradores interesados en la compra de sus derechos de uso.
Cuando las víctimas habían aceptado la propuesta, los ahora arrestados les comunicaban que el dinero ofertado ya estaba a su disposición, si bien antes tenían que cumplir los trámites administrativos de liquidación de derechos, tasas e impuestos.
Una vez que se realizaba el pago, los intermediarios desaparecían sin dejar rastro.
Entre los arrestados se encuentran el presunto cabecilla del grupo, que gestionaba los listados de los titulares de bienes inmuebles en multipropiedad.
También han sido detenidas otras personas que actuaban como testaferros, así como diversos mandos intermedios que realizaban tareas como el reparto de potenciales víctimas, la gestión de las comunicaciones con ellas, la supervisión de cuentas bancarias, la confección de documentación falsa o el reclutamiento.

Los agentes han efectuado once registros en los que se ha intervenido abundante documentación bancaria, listados de propietarios, equipos informáticos, instrucciones para mantener conversaciones con potenciales víctimas, munición del calibre 22, unos grilletes, una pistola de aire comprimido, un dispositivo de descarga eléctrica y más de 30.000 euros en efectivo.
En esta operación han participado agentes del Grupo II de la Sección de Fraudes Financieros de la UDEF Central, de los Grupos de Crimen Organizado de la Brigada Provincial de Tenerife y de la comisaría local de Tenerife Sur, así como del Grupo II de Fraudes de la Brigada Provincial de Policía Judicial de Málaga.
